Mission

Our mission is to educate and support individuals in the community to achieve and maintain optimal physical health through safe and effective therapy.

Our practices at The Wellness Team are underpinned by three fundamental principles:

  • Experienced Practitioners

  • Multidisciplinary Clinic

  • Professional & Friendly Staff

Our Story

The Wellness Team started as Physiotherapy Associates in Carseldine central in 2012, providing physiotherapy to the community. As we have grown, we have moved to a larger, purpose built facility in Aspley with a full gym fit out and offering other allied health services.

We have recently renamed our clinic to The Wellness Team, reflecting the evolution of our services to encompass wellbeing and exercise.

Enjoy great health for life with your local healthcare experts. The Wellness Team provides a broad range of healthcare services that are practical, proven, and easily applied to your lifestyle.

Thanks to the great support of the northside community, we have grown into a busy health hub for the community servicing Aspley, Carseldine, Bridgeman Downs, Fitzgibbon, Geebung, Chermside. Needs within the area have prompted us to establish a wide range of health related services.

We are very proud of the level of service, care and professionalism that we provide to local residents.

We have built the clinic on the dedication of our staff, the loyalty of our clients and the suggestions for improvement of both of these groups of people. If you believe any improvements can be made, please feel free to formally (in writing) or informally (in conversation) make those suggestions to staff.

 Meet Our Team

Calum Fraser

Calum was born into an athletics/health family so he always had an interest in training and rehabilitation.

Calum has a keen interest in rehabilitating injuries, whether sporting; a sprained ankle, a dislocated shoulder or a muscular imbalance created by years of lifting weights, or work related; shoulder pain from overhead lifting or back tightness from sitting too long at a desk.

He prefers using hands on techniques so he can accurately identify the issues and treat in a way which generates the best results. When appropriate he likes to use his training experience from running and weights to facilitate your recovery.

As well as working with athletes Calum has also worked with a major Australian airline preforming injury screens/manual handling and rehabilitating their staff. Workplace injuries while different from sporting injuries often share some common similarities.

He finds when issues are addressed correctly, they can often be maintained through specific exercises and simple adaptions to everyday life.

Calum has taken multiple advanced courses in dry needling and is able to use these techniques in his treatments as appropriate.
